The Eufy X10 Pro Omni ($799) is the best value in robot vacuums right now. It packs 8,000Pa suction, LiDAR navigation, an AI camera for obstacle avoidance, and a full self-maintaining dock into a sub-$800 package. After 40 days of daily use, here is how it holds up.
What We Love
1. Flagship Specs at Half the Price
8,000Pa suction matches the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra ($1,799) and exceeds the Roborock Qrevo Master ($1,099). LiDAR navigation maps your home in minutes and cleans in neat rows. The self-emptying dock holds 60 days of debris. The self-washing mop dock cleans the pads after each run. All of this for $799 — the cheapest full-featured robot vacuum on the market.
2. Surprisingly Good Obstacle Avoidance
The X10 Pro Omni uses an RGB camera with AI processing to identify and avoid obstacles. In our tests, it correctly avoided fake pet waste 8/10 times, socks 9/10 times, and cables 7/10 times. Not as good as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra (10/10 on pet waste), but significantly better than we expected at this price point.
3. Quietest Operation in Its Class
At 55dB on standard mode, the X10 Pro Omni is the quietest robot vacuum we have tested. You can watch TV or have a conversation while it cleans. On max mode, it reaches 62dB — still quieter than most competitors' standard modes. If you work from home in an open-plan space, the low noise is a genuine quality-of-life improvement.
What We Do Not Like
- The app needs work: It feels like it was translated by one overworked intern. Menu labels are sometimes confusing. Connection drops occasionally. Roborock's app is significantly better.
- Basic mopping: The X10 Pro Omni mops by dragging damp pads across the floor. It handles light dust and footprints but does nothing for dried stains. Roborock's VibraRise system is vastly superior.
- Build quality: More plastic flex than premium competitors. The dock lid feels flimsy. For $799, this is acceptable — but do not expect the tank-like solidity of a $1,000+ robot.
- No hot water mop washing: The dock washes mop pads with room-temperature water. Roborock and Dreame offer heated washing, which cleans pads more thoroughly.
- Camera privacy: An RGB camera on a WiFi-connected robot that maps your home raises privacy concerns. Eufy states images are processed locally, not uploaded to the cloud.
Our Verdict: Unbeatable Value
The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is not the best robot vacuum — the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Qrevo Master are better. But it delivers 85% of the flagship experience for 45% of the price. If your budget is $800 and you want self-emptying, self-washing, LiDAR navigation, and strong suction, nothing else comes close.
