CleanHomeTech exists to fix that. We buy every product at retail price, test it in a real home environment against standardized benchmarks, and tell you what actually works.
How We Test
Every product category has a standardized testing protocol. For robot vacuums, that means:
- Controlled debris tests on hardwood, medium-pile carpet, and tile
- Pet hair embedment tests with real dog and cat hair
- Navigation obstacle courses with cable clutter, fake pet waste, and tight spaces
- Mopping tests with 24-hour dried stains
- Noise measurements at multiple distances and modes
- Long-term durability — we run each top pick for 30+ days continuously
We publish our full testing methodology with every review. You can replicate our tests at home if you want to verify our findings.
